Academic Student Test Proctor (Work-Study)

Academic Student Test Proctors are involved in monitoring tests administered by the Academic Success at Keuka (ASK) program office for documented students in support of the College learning assessments. Discover the nature and needs of individuals with disabilities, gain knowledge and an appreciation for the commonalities within our society as a whole, through diversity training and exposure to people who may have different abilities than their own.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate trust by understanding and abiding by testing policy and procedures, especially confidentiality and protection of the integrity of the tests.
  • Demonstrates behaviors and attitudes which support Keuka College’s mission, vision, and values.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Eligible for a Keuka Work-Study or Federal Work-Study award.
  2. Must maintain confidentiality at all times is required.
  3. Academic Student Test Proctor must be a Senior / Junior with a GPA of 3.5 or better (required).
  4. Human service related program of study (Psychology, OT, Education, Social Work, Math, etc.) or by Academic Division Chair recommendation.
  5. Individuals with Field Period or other experience working with persons with disabilities preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional weekend & evening hours required.
